Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #75 (Zeitraum: 29.04. bis 21.05).

Aufgrund der Aufregenden Neuigkeiten zur 5ten Edition von V:tM sowie der RPC 2018 hat die Kurzübersicht für rund 3 Wochen pausiert, nun ist sie zurück und das mit nicht weniger als 73 Projekten.

Unter den deutschen Crowdfundings findet sich zunächst die Drei Abenteuerwelten für Fate Core. Hierbei kann sich der geneigte Fate-Fan mit Märchenkrieger, Barbaricum und Opus Magnum gleich drei „deutsche“ Settings aneignen. Mit der kleinen Hoffnung vielleicht das Grenzer-Setting freizuschalten. Daneben gibt Die Vergessenen Chroniken ggf. auch auf Englisch.

Die englischsprachigen Projekte sind sehr mannigfaltig. Unter den normalen Rollenspielen sind mir Agents of Concordia und Interbellum RPG besonders aufgefallen. Beides sind Spiele die alternative Geschichtsverläufe bieten, mit etwas Phantastik gemischt, und eine wirklich starke Gestaltung bieten. Weshalb ich noch einen näheren Blick drauf werfen werden.
Bei den Fantasy Spielen finde ich Scales & Tales sowie ORC STABR ganz interessant bzw. witzig. Scales bietet einen netten Komplett-Ansatz, welcher sich auch an Kinder richtet, wohingegen STABR ein humoristisches, zweiseitiges Minimal-RPG ist.
Neben den Urban Fantasy Spielen wie der zweiten Edition von Part-Time Gods und Necrotopia sowie den Superhelden Spielen wie IS IT A PLANE!? und SuperAge, gibt es eine Rekordanzahl an Spielleiterlosen-Rollenspielen. Mehr auf einen Schlag als sonst… überhaupt? Dream Askew // Dream Apart bietet gleich zwei Spiele respektive Settings, wobei ich gerade „jüdische Fantasy aus einem Schtetl“ spannend finde. Archives of the Sky wiederum bietet einen Science Fiction Ansatz. BFF thematisiert Freundschaften und daneben gibt es noch Children of the Fall, wo man Kinder in einer post-apokalyptischen Welt spielt.
Daneben gibt es noch wirklich viele weitere Projekte. Ich mag den dJAM Würfel, der Patreon für den On A Roll Podcast ist interessant (auch weil ein Bekannter dabei ist), es gibt viele coole Notizbücher, sogar ein Malbuch und vieles, vieles mehr. Schaut selbst:

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #74, including every tabletop project started between 04.08 and 04.29.

Given my live and a ton of cool news from White Wolf regarding the 5th edition of Vampire: The Masquerade culminating the current pre-oder at Modiphius I took a little time with this crowdfunding collection. Which features no less than 54 projects.

A project that I backed in a blink of an eye was the Jubiläumsausgaben zu Vampire from Ulisses Spiele. It does offer not only the German translation of Vampire: The Dark Ages 20th but a total of 9 supplements.
Of the many other I backed the Patreon for a RPG about Nahuales. A Powered by the Apocalypse Role-Playing Game about the Nahuales, mythical creatures originated from the Mexican culture. I am quite fascinated by Welcome to Yarnia, as it is the first RPG to combine knitting and role-playing gaming. Next to those there are a plenty other interesting tabletop rpgs being funded likeOverlight, An Atlas of the Horizons, Journey Away, Nagual, Star Crossed, Faxions, Endless Realms, Shattered Tower and Black Void. Yet the gamebook GameTale is interesting as well as the social deduction / party rpg games. Well and there are many, many more cool projects, just take a look:

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #74 (Zeitraum: 08.04. bis 29.04.).

Aufgrund meines Lebens und vieler aufregender Neuigkeiten um White Wolf und die neue Vampire: Die Maskerade Edition – Vorbestellung bei Modiphius – kam ich nicht zum regulären verfassen der Crowdfunding Kurzübersichten.
Deshalb gibt es diese mit nicht weniger als 54 Projekten.

Besonders sticht hierbei für mich die Jubiläumsausgaben zu Vampire hervor. Man erhält hierbei das Grundregelwerk Vampire: Das Dunkle Zeitalter sowie ganze 9 Ergänzungsbände auf Deutsch! Ich bin dabei und habe dazu Über das Projekt gebloggt sowie versucht zu erklären Wie man kriegt, was man will.
Von den vielen gelisteten Rollenspielen unterstütze ich ansonsten den Patreon zu RPG about Nahuales. Ein Powered the Apocalypse Rollenspiel über mythische Kreaturen aus der mexikanischen Kultur. Auch Welcome to Yarnia fasziniert mich, wo es doch Häckeln bzw. Stricken und Rollenspiel verbindet. Wobei auch die weiteren Rollenspiele wie Overlight, An Atlas of the Horizons, Journey Away, Nagual, Star Crossed, Faxions, Endless Realms, Shattered Tower und Black Void. Aber auch das GameTale Spielbuch ist interessant, ebenso wie die Social Deduction Spiele. Nun und die vielen, vielen weitere Projekte. Seht selbst:

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #72 – Part 1 of 3, including every tabletop project started between 03.05 and 03.25.

Thanks to the sheer amount of projects started within the past three weeks, I decided to split the collection into three parts. This part does contain all projects in German or from Germany as well as all projects in either French or Spanish.

In regards of the German projects am strongly in favor of the translation of Coriolis by the publisher Uhrwerk. I got the English edition and am looking forward to the localized one, specially considering that Uhrwerk proved to be quite capable in handling previous crowdfundings. You’ll find that parallel to this projects there is as well a French project for the translation of Coriolis. Proving that the the system spreads quite a bit.
I do like and would recommend the C-EL DICE, which offers nice dice made in Germany. Though the whole project is presented in English and thus invites a more international audience. Another noteworthy project is ERDENSTERN Live In Concert, which offers to elevate the atmospheric sound of the band Erdenstern to an orchestral level.
You’ll find that the 3W6 Podcast seeks the support of patreons for their continued podcast, as well as Spielerverzeichnis asks for support to continue helping gamers to find each other.
In regards to the French project, you should check-out Meute, which happens to be the 100st project on the GameOnTabletops plattform. Meute explores the folklore of (South) France in regards of Werewolves and will offer the character two sheets for their two lycantroph forms. The human one as well as the wolf one. The whole concept and design really does look exciting. Then there is P.I.R.A.T.E.S. A rather rules light, short in pages game in which players assume the roles of pirates. The game is designed to be enjoyed by adults as well as young gamers. Last but not least there’s Cartes fantastiques offering really cool looking map stuff.
The Spanish novel CALAMITY does offer some reading material for those who like the D&D setting of Akuma.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #72 Teyl 1 von 3 (Zeitraum: 05.03. bis 25.03).
Aufgrund der Masse an neuen Projekten, welche in den letzten drei Wochen starteten, habe ich die Kurzübersicht in drei Teile aufgespalten. In diesem Teil findet ihr die Projekte aus Deutschland, sowie die französischen sowie spanischen Projekte.

In Bezug auf die deutschen Projekten, fällt zunächst das Coriolis Projekt des Uhrwerk-Verlag auf. Mit Coriolis erhält ein weiteres Spiel des Freeleague Verlag eine deutsche Übersetzung. Ich persönlich kann Coriolis, das ich bereits auf Englisch habe, nur empfehlen und der Uhrwerk Verlag hat mir mit Mutant Jahr Null bewiesen das er zuverlässig und gute Crowdfundings macht.
Mit C-EL DICE wiederum gibt es coole Würfel aus Deutschland, auch wenn das Projekt selbst englischsprachig ist. Ich habe bei einem früheren Projekt bereits mitgemacht, und kann das Projekt nur empfehlen. ERDENSTERN Live In Concert bietet die fantastische Musik von Erdenstern in orchestralem Format. Auf jeden Fall, einen Blick wert!
Ebenso wie die Unterstützung des 3W6 Podcast, die auch so coole Episoden liefern, sowie des Spielerverzeichnis, mit dem man Rollenspielrunden in der Nähe finden kann.
Auf der französischen Seite beschert Meute GameOnTabletops das 100ste Projekt. Bei Meute spielt man wohl Werwölfe, wobei jeder Spieler gleich zwei Charaktere hat. Einmal die menschliche Seite der Figur, der Mensch, und dann der Wolf. Das ganze klingt durchaus spannend. P.I.R.A.T.E.S wiederum bietet ein leichtes Spiel rund um Piraten, das auch Kindern zugänglich sein sollte. Nun und daneben gibt es noch sehr ansehnliche Karten mit Cartes fantastiques.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #71, including every tabletop project started between 02.26 till 03.05.

This week you’ll find the collection stuffed with cool and fascinating projects.
For example there’s Chernobyl, Mon Amour. A tabletop rpg focused on characters who fled society and stranded within the highly radioactive lands around the Chernobyl reactor. The game focuses on the characters, their situation and the personal drama with a narrative game design somewhat akin to Nordic Larp. It has been originally developed and written in Finnish in 2016 by Juhana Pettersson, who’s as well doing the project and the translation. I am fascinated by the approach, the setting as well as the design and thus backed and do recommend it.
I did place the Liminal RPG among the Role-Playing Games segment, though I think it might be as well worth a look if you like Story Games. You’ll find quite some info about the system in the second update and the game offers an interesting contemporary urban fantasy setting. Which I find quite intriguing
Far Away Land. is a rules-light game that should be fun for all ages. The system appears a bit more traditional, the fantasy setting looks quite fun and quite rich, well and you’ll find quite a lot of material.
If you prefer gm-less games you might like to take a look at the Protocol Fantasy Game Omnibus by Jim Pinto. You’ll get loads of Protocol Engine games. If you like Blades in the Dark and wish it was Cyberpunk Hack the Planet got you covered. Given that it is by the creators of The Veil it should be good, and if I were more into Cyberpunk I would back it in a minute.
You’ll find more interesting projects next to these. Like NecroMech does not only offer their classic rpg exclusivly as an app, but it comes bundles with a subscription online service. The Shrouded Order combines augemented reality with sightseeing and LARP. In regards of settings, Rappan Attuk opens the famous mega-dungeon setting to 5E and ANKUR will see a setting based upon the african continent.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #71 (Zeitraum: 26.02. bis 05.03.).

Diese Woche ist erneut prall gefüllt mit vielen, sehr coolen Projekten.
So gibt es mit Chernobyl, Mon Amour ein Rollenspiel das sich mit Charakteren befasst, welche vor der Gesellschaft in die hochradioaktiv Zone um den Tschernobyl-Reaktor flüchten und dort zurecht kommen müssen. Das Spiel konzentriert sich deutlich auf die Charaktere und ihre Situation und orientiert sich in Gestaltung und Spieldesign an Nordic LARPs. Es wurde hierbei von Juhana Pettersson entwickelt, der unter anderem auch Nordic LARPs selbst gestaltet. Ich bin ebenso fasziniert wie gespannt, als Untersützer dabei und empfehle definitiv einen Blick.
Ich habe das Liminal RPG unter Rollenspiele sortiert anstelle zu den Story Games, wobei ich denke das die regelleichte Mechanik durchaus auch einen eher narrativen Spielstil zuträglich ist. Neben der Spielmechanik – die man am besten im zweiten Update präsentiert bekommt – bietet Liminal auch ein cooles, modernes Urban Fantasy Setting. Weshalb ich es im Auge behalte.
Ebenfalls regelleicht und an alle Altersgruppen gerichtet, präsentiert sich Far Away Land. Das Spiel überzeugt durch eine bunte, leicht abgedrehte Fantasywelt und massig Material um Runden zu gestalten. Wobei der Anteil dessen was man tatsächlich zum Spielen schaut übersichtlich ist. Freunde des spielleiterlosen Rollenspiel hingegen sollten sich den Protocol Fantasy Game Omnibus von Jim Pinto ansehen. Es bietet gleich eine ganze Ladung Protocol Engine Spiele. Fans von Blades in the Dark bekommen mit Hack the Planet ein Cyberpunk-Spiel basierend auf dem BitD Regelsystem. Wobei die Macher mit The Veil bereits bewiesen haben dass sie es können.
Daneben gibt es weitere interessante Projekte. NecroMech kombiniert klassisches Rollenspiel mit einem Online-Tool sowie Abo-Service wobei The Shrouded Order quasi LARP mit Augemented Reality verbinden mag. Bei den Settings kann man mit Rappan Attuk auch in der 5E ab in den Mega-Dungeon und das Spiel ANKUR erhält einen Bandzum afrikanischen Kontinent.
Darüberhinaus gibt es eine Vielzahl von coolen Projekten, Ergänzungsbände, Würfel, Pins & Patches, Patreon & d!rip Projekte und mehr. Schaut selbst:

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #67, including every tabletop project started between 01.28. till 02.04.

The week covered saw a plenty of really cool projects started.
Among the tabletop role-playing games you’ll find Good Society: A Jane Austen Roleplaying Game from the creators of Alas for the Awful Sea. It sees the player assume the roles of characters within Austen-like stories.Vying to reach their goals within the challenges of station and societal rules and expectations. The project is well done, the video presentation is charming and informative, I like the system presented and thus couldn’t resist backing it.
The Keyring RPG manages to put a whole tabletop RPG onto a single key-ring. The game is already done and tested in Sweden, where it got a second edition. The presentation does look interesting and the d6 based system solid. With a more than reasonable price on top I couldn’t resist and backed it.
Next to those you’ll find a new Kickstarter for Spell: The RPG, offering the game with a hardcover book and a really fancy wooden box. It is a project that I got starred for maybe a later pledges..
Then there’s the Trinity: Continuum by Onyx Path, aiming to bringing the Trinity Univers back with a new edition under the Storypath System. While am not yet in for Aeon, I’ve been enticed enough to go for the core book pledge.
Last but not Least there’s Sagas of Midgard an interesting new take on creating a tabletop RPG focusing on north mythology..
Yet, you’ll find other cool projects next to those games. Like the Patreon to support Darker Hue Studios, the creators of Harlem Unbound. Well, or the Revilo Creature Collection which should make a really nice looking source to draw monsters. Am as well fascinated by Dungeon Solitaire, which is a card based (solo) dungeon crawling game. Or the CRYPTEX .. a „wooden dice box enigma“-thingy. There are many more cool projects, just take a look:

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #67 (Zeitraum: 28.01. bis 04.02.).

Diese Woche gibt es eine Vielzahl toller Projekte.
Unter den Rollenspielen bieten die Macher von Alas for the Awful Sea mit Good Society: A Jane Austen Roleplaying Game ein RPG mit dem man die Geschichten von Jane Austen erleben kann, und Versuchen die Ziele seiner Figuren im Kontext von Stand und gesellschaftlichen Zwängen umzusetzen. Das ganze ist so charmant gemacht und hinsichtlich des vorgestellten System, das ich nicht wiederstehen konnte.
Das Keyring RPG schafft es ein ganzes Rollenspiel auf einen Schlüsselring aufzuziehen. Das Spiel ist eher regelleicht und verwendet W6 basiert. Mich persönlich überzeugte die Idee, der Umstand das es eine Übersetzung ist – das heißt in Schweden gibt es bereits zwei Editionen -, die sympathische Präsentation im Video sowie der recht günstige Preis.
Daneben gibt es einen neuen Kickstarter zu dem Spiel Spell: The RPG, wo das Spiel einerseits eine Buch-Version bekommt, andererseits eine ansprechende Holzkiste. Ein Projekt, bei dem ich mir noch überlege einzusteigen.
Daneben schickt sich Onyx Path Publishing mit Trinity: Continuum an das Trinity Universum mit einer neuen Edition, inklusive neuem Storypath System, wiederzubeleben. Das ganze überzeugt mich soweit, das ich zumindest für das GRW dabei bin.
Last but not Least gibt es mit Sagas of Midgard noch einen sehr interessanten Kickstarter-Beitrag zu Rollenspielen welche die nordische Mythologie als Setting nutzen.
Allerdings sind auch die weiteren Projekte interessant. Nach ihrem erfolgreichen Harlem Unbound Kickstarter, kann man Darker Hue Studios nun mittels eines Patreon unterstützen. Die Revilo Creature Collection bietet faszinierende Kreaturen, die man sicherlich auch in seine Kampagne einbauen kann. Dungeon Solitaire erhält einen weiteren Eintrag in Dungeon-Crawling-Karten-Spiele und lockt mich daher. I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #66, including every tabletop project started between 01.21. till 01.28.

In regards of tabletop RPG you’ll find a new entry to the fantasy genre with Ascendant Destiny. The game appears to be focused on a rather heroic, colorful approach to the setting and the system seems quite traditional (d10 poolsystem) without being OSR. Next to that it has some nice illustrations, a charming project in my opinion. League of Seekers on the other hand is a game that took quite some inspiration from Bloodborn, dives into the grimdark times of eighteenhundred and seasons it by inserting some lovecraftian horrors. The base system is „percentile roll under“ though with some intriguing twists. Like a sanity mechanic where the character got to be actually a bit mad to see the horror. The last full tabletop rpg in this list is S̀uen Ikna, a game for whom it’s authors developed a whole new language (including a new alphabet) and which is quite a passion project.
Yet the various other projects are intruiging as well.
Like Seigneury of Borth a French / English project that offers beautiful setting illustrations. Well or the really cool looking dice like PolyHero or Necronomicon or those fancy Sumi coins.
You might choose to support New Agenda Publishing, a new publisher, run by experienced designers like Eloy Lasanta, Misha Bushyagar and Jerry D. Grayson. You could take a look at Elven Lords – a solo adventure for Tunnels and Trolls. If you got kids The Little Game Master childrens book might be worth having a look. Well and if you like games in general,.. I got intruiged by the Bokkel Magazine projects, despite it not being a Choose Your Own Adventure. Well, and if you are in Berlin, and interested in pervasive LARPs, you might like to check out the The Wall 2061 Citygame crowdfundinger.
