I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #90, including every tabletop project started between 12/09 till 12/31.

Welcome to the last Crowdfunding Collection of 2018.
In regards of the projects I am enticed by They Came from Beneath the Sea!. The game offers a pulp SF setting along the movies and narratives of the 50s. I had the chance to play the game during GenCon and it was quite some fun, plus I do consider the author very reliable. Thus I recommend it even though I couldn’t yet squeeze it into my budget.
If you would rather prefer fantasy games you might like to check out Map Maker Adventures. Fans of a more fantastical Rome should take a look at Maelstrom Rome.
In regards of game books you’ll find that Choose Your Way Micro Action Booklets does offer some small adventures. While I personally felt tempted by the Silent Titans OSR adventure.
If you fancy a look across the plate, maybe check out the Record of Dragon Wars project by the German Uhrwerk publisher. It’s their take on a Record of Lodoss Wars setting, with a OSR inspired rule set. Fitted to be suited for beginners.
There are plenty more projects to take a look at, thus go forth and slide comfortably into the new year.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #90 (Zeitraum: 09.12 bis 31.12).

Willkommen zur letzten Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht 2018.
Das Jahr schließt mit dem Record of Dragon Wars Crowdfunding des Uhrwerk Verlag. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine OSR-basierte Eigenentwicklung welche hinsichtlich des Settings deutlich von Record of Loddoss Wars geprägt wurde und durch einen Manga-Look überzeugt. Während ich mich normalerweise nicht für westliche Anime oder Manga Imitate begeistern kann, hat es mir dieses Projekt angetan und ich empfehle einen Blick.
Als ehrenwerte Nennung mag ich erwähnen das System Matters mit Der tiefe Wald und Gesellschaft der Träumer zu schnell für mich war. Sie haben beide Projekte innerhalb nur einer Woche finanziert und noch unter einer Woche an die Unterstützer geliefert. Wow!

Bei den englischen Rollenspielen begeistert mich They Came from Beneath the Sea!, welches ich auf der GenCon probeweise spielen konnte. Das Spiel um Pulp-Helden im Stil von 50er Jahre SF-Filmen ist charmant, spielt sich gut und unterhaltsam. Dazu vertraue ich dem Autor. Hätte ich mehr Geld, wäre ich dabei. Wobei Fantasy Fans einen Blick auf Map Maker Adventures haben sollten und solche die sich für ein phantastisches Rom interessieren auf Maelstrom Rome.
Fans von Spielbüchern werden mit Choose Your Way Micro Action Booklets einige Minis geboten und ich persönlich fühle mich von dem Silent Titans OSR-Abenteuer doch stark versucht.
Daneben gibt es natürlich viele weitere Projekte, in diesem Sinn schaut es euch an und Guten Rutsch!

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #89, including every tabletop project started between 11/25 and 12/09.

Quite some interesting projects have went live within the last two weeks. For example Tale, a fantasty rpg with some very interesting illustration and a solid project design. Though in conversation with fans of fantasy rpgs Low Fantasy Gaming is well worth having a look. Well, and I consider the design the game Queste nice.
I am not as much smitten by the looks, but by the science fiction setting and game system of Termination Shock by Greg Stolze. The setting should be accessible to new players and the idea to read several information from one roll, looks enticing. I am considering backing it. Nibiru is more to my taste in visually, yet the system isn’t exactly what I am looking for, though I do think it is working and solid. Check it for yourself.
I found it difficult to categorize the two games which I sorted under „RPG-adjenct games“. On the one hand there is Situations, which sees players collaboratively creating a story, though without feeling like an actual rpg or even story game rpg. The Noticeboard is somewhat of a more traditional boardgame, yet according to its creator, with quite some options to utilize it for tabletop rpg.
Next to those I got somewhat intrigued by Into the Wyrd, a horror setting for D&D.  With Nile Empire you’ll find a supplement for Torg and Vagabond’s Cyclopedia one for Vagabond’s of Dyfed.
Though there are many, many more supplements, adventures and other cool projects:

Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #89

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #89 (Zeitraum: 25.11 bis 09.12).

Die letzten beiden Wochen sind erneut einige interessante Crowdfundings gestartet.
Hinsichtlich der Fantasy-Rollenspiele finde ich Tale recht interessant. Die Optik gefällt mir und das Projekt sieht solide aus. Von Gesprächen aus zu schließen scheint Low Fantasy Gaming erwartet worden zu sein und ein Projekt auf das Fantasy Fans einen Blick haben sollte. Queste wiederum finde ich sieht einfach gut aus.
Unter den beiden Science Fiction Rollenspiele ziehe ich in Betracht Termination Shock zu unterstützen. Das Setting ist interessant und das System von Greg Stolze verspricht interessant zu sein. Nibiru bietet eine sehr ansprechende Optik und ein gutes System, womit ich empfehlen mag einen Blick drauf zu werfen. Ich war versucht, bis ich merkte dass es nicht meinen Systemvorlieben entspricht.
Die rollenspielnahe Spiele haben mir etwas Kopfzerbrechen bereitet. Situations bietet ein Story Game im wortwörtlichen Sinn mit eher geringen Rollenspielelementen, wobei es derartige Spiele – jenseits des Party-Spiele Segment – nun auch nicht so häufig gibt. The Noticeboard wiederum ist mehr ein Brettspiel, welches sich aber – nach Aussage des Machers – für Rollenspiel einsetzen läßt.
Daneben gibt es mit Into the Wyrd ein interessantes Setting für D&D, mit Nile Empire ein Ergänzungsband für Torg und mit Vagabond’s Cyclopedia Material für Vagabond’s of Dyfed.
