I have had the opportunity to particapte in two Playtest for the 5th Edition of Vampire: the Masquerade, one in Berlin during the World of Darkness – Berlin event and one during the annual RPC convention in Cologne.
In this article I like to share my impressions of those playtest. What I remember from the system, my thoughts on the mechanics, questions and ideas. The V5 Playtest is supposed to soon be released to the general public, thus I will try to avoid spoilers.
V5 Playtest – Table setup
Ich konnte auf der World of Darkness Berlin sowie der RPC in Köln am Playtest der neuen fünften Edition von Vampire: The Masquerade teilnehmen.
Hiermit mag ich meine Eindrücke, was mir vom System in Erinnerung blieb, sowie was ich dazu denke, mit euch teilen. Da der Playtest sehr bald kostenlos erscheinen soll, und ich mindestens drei Runden zusagte, versuche ich auf Abenteuerspoiler zu verzichten.
V5 Playtest – Tischaufbau
Ulisses Spiele hat in ihrem Program-Post für die RPC 2017 angekündigt das es, auf der RPC 2017 (dieses Wochenende), die Möglichkeit gibt an dem offiziellen Playtest für die neuste Edition von Vampire: Die Maskerade von White Wolf teilzunehmen!
Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Liste #39 (Zeitraum: 02.05 bis 22.05.).
Nach einer Convention und Urlaubs Pause gibt es eine neue Kurzübersicht.
Aufgrund des Urlaubs etwas verzögert, dafür mit mehr Beschreibungen. Wenn ich ein Projekt nicht in eigenen Worten beschreibe, heißt das idR. nur das mir nichts einfiel. Nicht unbedingt das es schlecht ist.
Ansonsten, es gibt Fantasy mit Katzen, coolen Steampunk, faszinierende Story Games und mehr,… Und sogar ein neues, deutsches Übersetzungsprojekt aus dem System Matters Verlag!

Vom 11.05. bis zum 14.05. wird im MOA Hotel in Berlin die World of Darkness Berlin Convention stattfinden. Für die ich bereits angemeldet bin, an der ich also teilnehmen werde und die ich mit diesem Bericht einmal vorstellen mag.
Der Rabatt auf die Eintrittskarte, welchen es einst gab, hat einen Gewinner gefunden.
A while ago, in the context the World of Darkness Berlin Fan Festival (11.05 – 14.05), P|D|A in cooperation with VEKN did announce that convention attendees will be presented with on anthology set for the Vampire: The eternal struggle card game. Following the enthusiastic response they offered the opportunity for, ticket owners, to pre-orders several decks.
The pre-order will conclude upon the third of march and thus within two days of writing this article. One set costs about 20€, roughly 21 USD, and you can get as many as you like or can afford.
Im Rahmen des World of Darkness Berlin Fan Festival bietet White Wolf den Convention Besuchern, respektive Eintrittskarten-Besitzern, die Möglichkeit mehrere Ausgaben des brand neuen Anthologie-Set für das VTES Kartenspiel zu erstehen.
Diese Vorbestellaktion geht nur mehr bis 03. März und läuft damit in zwei Tagen, von dem Veröffentlichung-Datum dieses Artikels betrachtet, aus.
Ein Set kostet 20€.
Within the last few weeks quite a few announcements in regards of fresh video game as well as mobile game titles, for various World of Darkness settings, where released.
To summarize the news:
Focus Home Interactive announced an AAA title for Werewolf: The Apocalypse
Asmodee Digital released news of two mobile games, one in regarding Vampire: The Masquerade and one regarding Mage: The Ascension.
White Wolf did licence a third mobile game with a focus on Wraith: The Oblivion.
Earplay is developing voice based game books for Wraith: The Oblivion – Orpheus.
