Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #178 (Zeitraum: 01.08 bis 15.08).

Nach einer kleinen Pause von einer Woche, ist die Kurzübersicht zurück. Diesmal mit nicht weniger als 18 Spielen, also lasst uns anfangen.

Pro Indie finanziert die deutschsprachige Übersetzung des Superhelden-Rollenspiel Supers! Hinsichtlich des Setting, bietet das Buch Regeln für alle möglichen Varianten, von einem eher geerdeten Straßen Setting wie es bspw. Jessica Jones präsentiert, hin bis zu einem Setting wie den Green Lanterns jenseits der Erde. Systemseitig ist es ein W6 basiertes Poolsystem, bei dem man die Würfelaugen addiert und versucht einen Zielwert zu schlagen. Einen tieferen Einblick könnt ihr über den Angebotenen Schnellstarter erlangen. Schaut es euch an, und schlagt zu! Ich selbst bin mit einem kleinen Betrag auch dabei, um allein das Projekt als solches zu unterstützen, nachdem Superhelden nicht so mein RPG-Thema sind.

Bei den englischsprachigen Systemen mag ich mit der -punk Reihe anfangen. Genauer gesagt CARBON GREY, ein Diespunk Spiel rund um kriegerische Konflikte welches sich mit einem überarbeiten W6 West End Games System präsentiert. Das Spiel, welches um 1910 ansetzt, präsentiert sich optisch opulent, mit coolen Zubehör, einer Box und passenden Minis. Ich empfehle einen Blick, und fühle mich gar ob der Optik etwas versucht, obwohl es eigentlich nicht so mein Thema ist. Cloudrunner: Fate of the Skies präsentiert ein von Dampf statt Diesel angetriebenes Punk-Setting mit deutlichen Anleihen bzw. Inspiration von Videospielen wie Skies of Arcadia und Guns of Icarus. Systemseitig setzt man auf Fate Condensed auf, und bietet damit ein erzählerisches System.
Unter den Fantasy Rollenspielen mag ich mit Avatar Legends eröffnen. Dem offiziellen Rollenspiel zu den TV-Serien Avatar: The Last Airbender und Legends of Korra. Das Setting, welches ich pimaldaumen unter Fantasy passend finde, wird systemseitig mit einem Powered by the Apocalypse System abgebildet, wobei weitere Ergänzungsbände bereits angekündigt sind. Das Projekt bietet das Grundregelwerk, und ein fettes Packet an Abenteuern, Ergänzungsmaterial, Würfeln und vieles mehr zu einem sehr guten Preis, und ist hinsichtlich des Erfolgs durch die Decke gegangen wie noch kein (Buch) Rollenspiel-Kickstarter davor. So steht es aktuell bei einer Zielerreichung von 5,7 Millionen Dollar und lässt damit das zweiterfolgreichste Projekt um mehr als den doppelten Betrag zurück. Ich persönlich bin dabei, und mag es empfehlen. Also nicht weil es so erfolgreich ist, sondern weil ich es tatsächlich für gut halte, und positive Erfahrungen mit Magpie Games gemacht habe. Deutlich mehr klassische Fantasy bekommt man bei dem Neudruck der zweiten Edition des Black Hack geboten. Das OSR artige Spiel bedarf eigentlich keiner großen Worte, weshalb ich einfach einen Blick auf das Projekt empfehle. Für Fans absolut ein muss, und meiner Einschätzung nach ein guter Einstieg für Interessierte.
Wer wiederum ein Rollenspiel sucht, welches im Grunde das Setting von Stranger Things abbildet, wird bei Don’t Tell Mom & Dad fündig. Systemseitig basiert es auf W20 Würfeln, verwendet jedoch auch spannendere Aspekte wie ein Scared-o-Meter für Stress und einige weitere Mechaniken welche das Projekt vorstellt. Das Projekt wirkt gut gemacht, und ich empfehle einen Blick. Urban Fantasy, aber mehr so die Richtung Pokemon, bietet auch Monster Wrangler. Einem Spiel bei dem man Monster als Haustiere hält, zähmt, trainiert und gegen andere kämpfen lässt. Das W10 Poolsystem, bei dem man Erfolge sammelt, ist mir sympathisch, und das Projekt schaut gut aus. Einen Blick ist’s wert.
Bei Omega Horizon handelt es sich um ein Science Fiction Rollenspiel, mit Spacer Opera Ansätze. Bei dem neuen System handelt es sich um ein W6 Poolsystem, mit interessanten Kniffs, welches das Video durchaus gut umreißt. Während das System an sich recht crunchy ist, bietet es alternativ auch eine erzählerischere Variante. Mir gefällt das Projekt sehr, und ich überlege mir einzusteigen. Klare Empfehlung! RAYGUNS & ROBUTS bietet ein sehr regelleichteres System, wobei es sich mit Atomic SciFi (50er Jahre SF) befasst. Mit den 48 Seiten bleibt kein Platz für Speck, und das Heft ist wohl voll mit den kurzen Regeln, und Material um es sich auch für andere Kampagnen zu borgen. Ein cooles, kleines Projekt!
Das Verdant Isles: Teatime Adventures RPG wiederum ist ein herzerfrischendes Rollenspiel, um Abenteuer von anthropomorphische Figuren die man sich auch bei einer Tasse Tee erzählen kann. Das RPG kommt gleich mit drei Abenteuer, ist inclusive, und D&D 5E kompatibel. Wobei das grundlegende Systeme Konfliktlösungen jenseits von klassischen kämpfen nahelegt. Sehr süß, mit einem netten eigenen System, und eine klare Empfehlung. Ebenso knuffig ist Mausritter: Box Set & Adventure Collection. Hierbei erhält man das klassische RPG in einer neuen Auflage der Box, und mit frischen Abenteuern. Wobei es das GRW auch kostenlos bzw. für „bezahl was es dir wert ist“ gibt. Es kriegt gleichfalls eine klare Empfehlung.
Nicht ganz ein Spielbuch, sondern ein Solo Rollenspiel ist, glaub ich, KINLESS. Ein Solo Abenteuer für Mörk Borg, das aber auch gleich mit standalone Regeln kommt. Faszinierend. Ebenso braucht man niemand anders um Golden Mart zu spielen. Hierbei spielt man den Angestellten eines Gemischwarenladen, der den Betrieb aufrecht erhalten muss. Ebenfalls eine spannende und interessante Idee.
Deep Space D-6: The Long Way Home wiederum bietet ein Spielbuch in einem Science Fiction Setting. Wobei es nicht nur ein klassisches Spielbuch ist, sondern auch so ein Solo Rollenspiel. Mir gefällt die Aufmachung und ich werde es im Auge behalten. Innsmouth: The Stolen Child wiederum ist ein ganz klassisches Spielbuch, dass in Lovecraft’s Innsmouth spielt, 15 Jahre vor Anfang der Geschichte. Ein ganz normales Spielbuch, ist etwas erfrischendes.
Damit kommen wir zu Spielen, die mich bei der Frage: „Ist das ein RPG, oder tut es nur so?“ schlicht doch etwas überforderten. The Northwood Fables kombiniert Rollenspiel mit Murder Mysteries. Man bekommt zu jedem der 6 Fantasy Szenarien 10 Charakteren, Erzählerbuch und Soundtrack, Diner Rezept, Alkohol Rezept und passende Kunst. Okay, es ist ziemlich ein Krimidinner. Außer das die Charaktere auch gleich noch Skripts beeinhalten? Nu, ein Blick schadet nicht. The Death Race wiederum klammert sich an Mörk Borg ran, und bietet ein System, Spiel um Verfolgungsjagden. Die man auch gleich ins Spiel als Minispiel einbauen kann, respektive es auch OSR Regeln für das Minispiel verwendet. Womit es für mich irgendwo da zwischen steht.. Arydia: The Paths We Dare Tread scheint zwischen Rollenspiel und Dungeon Crawler Brettspiel hin und her zu schwanken. Ich muß zugeben, dass ich es nicht ganz blicke, es jedoch hinreichend rollenspielig wirkt. Bei DUNGEON DEGENERATES verhält es sich ähnlich. Wobei das ganze noch in weird’er OSR Fantasy Optik daher kommt, und die Charaktere scheinbare klassische RPG Stats haben.
Daneben gibt es natürlich coole weitere Projekte. So bietet The Oracle Isse 14 – Venetia, City of Masks, ein venezianisch inspiriertes Fantasy Setting, weshalb ich ein Auge auf das Magazin habe. Bei den Ergänzungsbänden sticht für mich die neue Edition von Delta Green: The Conspiracy hervor, und für Fans von Call of Cthulhu ist es sicherlich einen Blick wert. Bei den Würfeln mag ich die Dicebound Volume 2 Glitzer-Dinger, und das faszinierende W6 Design der Z dice.

Über die Aufnahme von Projekten

Es gibt zwei Wege wie Projekte in die Liste kommen.

) Ich versuche aktiv alle neue Projekte zu finden. Unter anderem über meine Crowdfunding Suchliste, aber auch durch die Beobachtung von Gruppen, Communities, Foren, Newsletter und dergleichen mehr.

) Ich bin darauf angewiesen das Ihr, die Leser, mir mitteilt wenn ein neues Projekt startet, das in die Liste passt. Beispielsweise weil ich manchmal Projekte übersehe oder sich Plattformen (Patreon, IndieGoGo, Startnext, …) schlecht durch suchen lassen oder ich sie nicht kenne.

Das Projekt sollte etwas mit Rollenspiel zu tun haben, schon gestartet, noch nicht erwähnt und zur nächsten Veröffentlichung noch am laufen.

Wenn man mich anspricht, nehme ich auch gerne Projekte auf, die normalerweise außenvor bleiben (z.B. Veranstaltungen oder Miniaturen bezogene Projekte).
