I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #129, including every tabletop rpg project started between 01/05 and 01/12.
Liberté started its second, this time round likely successful, attempt at funding the translation of the French PbtA game. The game focusses on essentially lost children in a world devoid of adults under a constant rain. The setting is quite interesting, it looks cool and I recommend having a look at it. Have I had more money, I’d back it. If you would prefer a low fantasy game, check out The Hero’s Journal. It orients itself at the classic of the genre, looks nice and combines an OSR system with modern elements. Then there’s Glitch, which I too would describe as fantasy. You’ll play gods who went full amageddon on the world and then noticed it was a flawed action. Now they got to do some investigative stuff and fix things. The setting approach is quite unique and the system is interesting. I’ll be having a closer look at it later. Though, if your like your fantasy steamy, err steampunk, take a look at Mighty Tiny: Tales of the Old Empires. The game is based on the comics of Ben Dunn and offers a setting and system that’s compatible with Savage Worlds and D&D 5E. Last but not least take a look at the Hexagon system. I do actually like the idea of putting the rules on a bunch of character sheets, which looks great.
Then there are two gangster rpgs. There is Mafia Caporegime , offering a totally new game. The characters aim to claim the title of caporegime and thus upturn the local mob. Something which will be supported by their background. The game offers 7 character classes and an entry level adventure. I do would like to have had some more infos about the rules, and asked for them, yet did back it. I think it’s worth having a look. The twist of CAPERS RPG is that the players play superpowered gangsters during the prohibition. I already backed the card based system in a previous project, and do feel tempted to get this deluxe edition too.
If you rather have a good old, well new, game book, take a look at Ghost Ops – Operation Lone Wolf. Then there is the Dungeon Party hybrid rpg. Hybrid, because I didn’t really see the rpg aspect in what appears to be a straight fantasy themed social card game.
There are of course other cool projects like the Blood Floats in Space setting for the Mothership RPG, which caught my eyes with its interesting illustration. The sourcebook The Forgotten Rites of the Moldering Dead for DCC focuses on death, dying, rituals, the undead and more. Which is why I do strongly consider backing it. Another cool thing is the Fungi Fight for Freedom Adventure where you play mushroomy adventures who fight for their freedom. Well, and there a cool, little, handcrafted leather maps to be found in the MeepleCraft Mini Maps project.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #129 (Zeitraum: 05.01 bis 12.01).
Liberté ist der zweite Versuch das französische PbtA zu finanzieren. Man spielt hierbei Kinder, welche sich in einer Welt in der die Erwachsenen verschwunden wiederfinden, und in der er es stets regnet. Es ist stimmig geschrieben, ansprechend illustriert und einen Blick wert, schaut es euch an. Wer wiederum lieber ein klassisches Fantasy Setting hat, ohne sonderliche dystneris, sollte ein Blick auf The Hero’s Journal haben. Das ganze orientiert sich an eher bodenständiger also „low“ Fantasy. Das Spiel System wiederum lehnt sich an die OSR an, und fügt eine modernen Elemente hinzu. Glitch bietet eine deutlich andere Art Fantasy. Man spielt Götter die sich einst entschieden die Welt zu vernichten, und danach bemerkten das es eine doofe Idee war. Nu‘ gehen sie in den Ruinen verschiedenen Ermittlungen nach. Das Setting klingt spannend und das System interessant. Wenn ihr eher Fantasy mit Steampunk mögt, werft einen Blick auf Mighty Tiny: Tales of the Old Empires. Das Spiel basiert auf den Manga von Ben Dunn und bietet Savage Worlds wie D&D E kompatible Regeln. Daneben gibt es mit dem Hexagon Rollenspielsystem einen frischen Mechanik Ansatz. So finden sich die Regeln auf einigen Charakterblättern wieder. Was stilistisch erstaunlich viel her macht und mir interessant erscheint.
Mit Mafia Caporegime gibt es ein neues Rollenspiel, bei dem die Charaktere versuchen sich zum Caporegime der lokalen Mafia aufzuschwingen. Die Charaktere erhalten wohl Motivationen den Mob umzustrukturieren, es gibt 7 Charakterklassen und es gibt dazu noch ein Einsteiger Abenteuer. Leider gibt es keine näheren Informationen zum System. Ich habe dennoch mitgemacht, und mag empfehlen es sich anzuschauen. Bei CAPERS RPG Deluxe Edition wiederum spielt man Gangster mit Superheldenfähigkeiten. Obwohl ich das Spiel habe, respektive weil ich es habe, bin ich versucht mir die edel Ausgabe zu gönnen. Wenn ihr es noch nicht habt, werft einen Blick drauf!
Wenn ihr lieber ein gutes, altes bzw. neues Spielbuch haben mögt, greift bei Ghost Ops – Operation Lone Wolf zu. Daneben gibt es mit Dungeon Party ein Rollenspiel Hybride. Das heißt, hauptsächlich scheint es ein Kartenspiel mit Party Aspekt zu sein, aber man behauptet es recht sicher in dem Untertitel.
Es natürlich auch andere coole Projekte wie das Blood Floats in Space Setting für das Mothership RPG mit einem durchaus spannenden Graphikstil. The Forgotten Rites of the Moldering Dead wiederum ist ein Ergänzungsband für DCC der sich mit dem Tod und sterben beschäftigt, weshalb ich ein Auge draufgeworfen habe. Alternativ kann man sich im Fungi Fight for Freedom Abenteuer mit der Befreiung des pilzigen Selbst aus einem Labor befassen. Es gibt auch kleine, handgestanzte Leder-Karte im MeepleCraft Mini Maps Projekt.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #128, including every tabletop rpg project started between 12/29 and 01/05.
The new year starts with about 18 projects, let’s get to ‚em.
Last Fleet RPG is a Powered by the Apocalypse games that offers a science fiction setting that appears to be focused on action. hinweisen.The playbooks are based on the (western) horoscope and considering that my sign (Taurus) fits about my kind of characters a 100 percent to the nail, I couldn’t resist! I supported other projects by the creators like Bite Marks and do consider them trustworthy. Take a look at it. The there is Casting the Runes is based on the Gumshoe system which approaches the story by M.R. James and offers investigations of ghostly apperitions and other supernatural mysteries. Set in the Eduardian era I consider the take on horror a quite refreshing change from the lovecraftian standard and recommend checking the project. Home offers a science fantasy setting that pitches humanity against mutated animals. Sadly, the project is a bit scant on informations.
In regards to other projects, Denoa offers a colorful and interesting looking setting for D&D 5E. If you are more looking for D&D 5E adventures, A System-Neutral TTRPG Adventure offers you the opportunity to add some personal input, The Folio: Black Label #3 impresses with opulent graphics and maps and if you want some lovecraftesque horror, you should look at A One-shot Mystery Adventure. If you are more on the lookout for a container for your cards, you might like to check out the Custom Wooden Card Game Deck Boxes – they look create.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #128 (Zeitraum: 22.12 and 05.01).
Das neue Jahr startet mit rund 18 Projekten, lasst uns anfangen.
Zunächst gibt es mit der deutschen Ausgabe von Misspent Youth ein Projekt aus dem Pro*Indie Verlag. In dem Rollenspiel von Robert Bohl spielt man rebellische Jugendliche, welche sich gegen das System und die Autorität auflehnen. Die Vorbestellung, bietet den Vorteil das keine Versandkosten anfallen. Technisch betrachtet ist es eigentlich kein Crowdfundingm aber ich fand es erwähnenswert, zumal ich auch gleich zu schlug.
Auf der Seite der englischsprachigen Seite mag ich zunächst auf Last Fleet RPG hinweisen. Das Spiel bietet ein Science Fiction Setting und entsprechende Action. Die Playbooks orientieren sich an den (westlichen) Sternzeichen und nachdem die Beschreibung mein Sternzeichen (Stier/Taurus) zu 100% meinen bevorzugten Charaktertyp entspricht, konnte ich nicht widerstehen! Ich habe bereits ein anderes Projekt der Macher gebackt (Bite Marks) und bin überzeugt, schaut es euch an. Daneben gibt es mit Casting the Runes ein Gumshoe basiertes, investigatives Rollenspiel welches sich die edwardianischen Zeit aus der Perspektive von M.R. James vornimmt. Mr. James hat seinerzeits Geistergeschichten verfasst, und das Rollenspiel verspricht neben dem untersuchen von Mysterien interessanten Horror und ich empfehle einen Blick. Home wiederum bietet ein Science Fantasy Setting bei der sich die Menschheit mutierten Kreaturen erwehren muss. Leider bietet das Projekt sehr wenig Informationen zum Setting wie System.
Hinsichtlich der weiteren Projekte bietet Denoa ein interessantes Setting für D&D 5E. A System-Neutral TTRPG Adventure bietet Unterstützern die Möglichkeit das Abenteuer mitzugestalten, wohingegen The Folio: Black Label #3 mehr mit der graphischen Opulenz überzeugt und A One-shot Mystery Adventure D&D 5E um lovecraftesquen Horror berreichert. Wer wiederum nach coolen Behältnissen für seine Karten sucht, sollte einen Blick auf die sehr hübschen Custom Wooden Card Game Deck Boxes haben.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #127, including every tabletop rpg project started between 12/22 and 12/29.
In the final Collection, that will conclude 2019, you’ll only find six projects. Given the small number, I’ll introduce each of them briefly..
Destiny Aurora is a Starfinder based sourcebook or companion book. It expands the Starfinder universe with the setting from the comic book of the same name. Providing players with new races, various faction to align to or alienate, the option to shape your crew, ship and reputation in the univers while braving various adventures. The setting appears quite interesting, colorful and I recommend having a look. Then there is the stadalone game ADVANCED FANTASY ROLE-PLAYING, which offers a very classic, complex gaming experience. It appears to have been created with quite some love, though not my kind of game.
If you faced the problem that your convention badged ruined a table, you might like to take a look at the Game Convention Lanyard Stabilizer. A clip that helps with freely swinging badges. Then there are the Game Mash Chipboard Monster Tokens, which offer precisely what the name says. Tokens to use during games.
If you speak or understand Spanish you might like to take a look at Vendha. The first book of a three part Spanish book series. If you like to have a key chain that combines Alpacas and gaming, you might like to check out the French project Les alporte clés du rôliste.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #127 (Zeitraum: 22.12 and 29.12).
In der letzten Kurzübersicht für dieses Jahr gibt es nur 6 Projekte, die ich dafür alle kurz erwähnen mag.
Destiny Aurora ist ein Starfinder basierter Ergänzungsband. Man kann aus verschiedenen fantastische Rassen des Universums, das auf dem gleichnamigen Comic basiert, wählen. Man kann sich eine Crew zusammenstellen, sich mit verschiedenen Fraktionen anfreunden oder verfeinden und Abenteuer bestehen. Das ganze sieht durchaus nett aus und hat einen Blick verdient. Daneben gibt es mit ADVANCED FANTASY ROLE-PLAYING ein sehr klassisches und auf Komplexität bedachtes Rollenspiel, bei dem man spürt das viel Herzblut in das Projekt geflossen ist.
Auf der Seite der Accessoire bietet Game Convention Lanyard Stabilizer einen Clip, mit dem man verhindern kann, dass das eigene Convention Ticket unfreiwillig einen Tisch abräumt. Daneben bietet Game Mash Chipboard Monster Tokens eben das. Monster Tokens die man auf den Tisch legen kann.
Bei Vendha, kann man sich den ersten Band einer dreiteiligen, spanischen Spielbuch Reihe zu legen. Wohingegen das französische Les alporte clés du rôliste Projekt Alpaka-Schlüsselanhänger mit Rollenspielklassen bietet.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #126, including every tabletop rpg project started between 12/16 and 12/22.
Right before (or in) the Holidays this collection still contains 16 projects, one of which is my clear favorite.
Cults of the Blood Gods offers an essential sourcebook for the 5th edition of Vampire: The Masquerade (V5) and proves that Onyx Path can start und successfully fund a project during the holidays. The books offers all rules and fluff needed to play my favorite Clan the Giovanni, along with other clans and bloodlines like the Cappadocians, Samedi, Nagaraja, Harbinger of Skulls and basically everyone necromantically inclined. Including a new, unifying title of „The Hecata“ – though one can always play a splinter group that insist on their original identity..
Next to those clans the book offers everything one might need to know about cults and religions in the context of the V5. You’ll get existing groups like the Church of Caine, Bahari, Nephilim, Church of Set, Cult of Mithras and many more. If you want to do something of your own device, you’ll get a toolbox to create your own cult.
The book will provide a campaign set in and around Munich (Germany), a kin to the campaigns offered in Chicago. Plus more scenarios ready to be played in a companion PDF.
There is more and for me it’s an absolute „must back“, a project which I recommend wholeheartidly and with passion. The potentially most important book next to the V5 core. Take a look, back it. If you are abroad, the shipping costs have dropped more than half of previous OPPs projects. If your budget suffered from the Holidays, it’s up till the 18th of January. Do it, back it! ;)
Another imho cool project is the Tabletops and Tentacles magazine. It offers adventures, a Print & Play game, NPCs, interviews, and more material on like 140+ pages. It looks great and I recommend having a look.
Then there is the one-shot adventure Legends of Novus Adventures: Kzmatic’s Keep. It looks stunning and pitches the PCs against a megalomaniac Lich who is in need of defeating. It’s a bit short, yet cool. Take a look.
If you like some dice to go along with it, take a look at the silver Dragon’s Hoard Dice or the nicely Dragon Themed Polyhedral dice set. If you like some digital tool to build your adventures, well take a look aat Dungeon & Quest Generator. It looks nice and useful.
I personally do feel tempted to back the Spanish translation of Tenra Bansho Zero from Japanese. I got an English edition, yet I want to improve my Spanish and hope that they do include the „rules for mass combat“ that are cut from the English edition and await being made available in a separate PDF. I am mostly kept away, by not being sure if they deliver to Germany and how much it will cost.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #126 (Zeitraum: 16.12 and 22.12).
Kurz vor Weihnachten bzw. den Feiertagen gibt es eine neue Übersicht. Diesmal mit nur 16 Projekten, von denen für mich dennoch eins heraussticht.
Cults of the Blood Gods bietet einen essentiellen Ergänzungsband für die 5. Edition von Vampire: Die Maskerade und beweist das man auch über Weihnachten Projekte ordentlich finanzieren kann. Der Clan bietet meine Lieblingsclan, die Giovanni, und umfasst auch Kappadozianer, Samedi, Nagaraja, Sendboten des Todes (Harbingers of Skulls) sowie weitere nekromantisch begabte Blutlinien. Daneben erhält man alles was man rund um Kulte wie Religion in der V5 braucht. Von bestehenden Kulten wie die Kirche Kains, Bahari, Nephilim, Kirche Sets, Kult des Mithras und mehr bis hin zu der Möglichkeit eigene Kulte zu bauen. Man bekommt eine Kampagne zu und rund um München, wohl ähnlich wie Chicago mit einer Kampagne versehen wurde, weitere Szenarien und mehr.
Meines Erachtens ein absolutes „Muss“, Empfehlung und mein potentieller Lieblingsband nach dem Grundregelwerk. Schaut es euch an, unterstützt es. Es wird noch bis zum 18 Januar laufen und die Versandkosten sind bei erträglichen $20 bis $15.
Ein weiteres cooles Projekt ist das Tabletops and Tentacles Magazin. Es bietet auf wohl mehr als 140 Seiten Abenteuer, ein Print & Play Spiel, NPCs, Interviews und massig weiteres Material und schaut cool aus, weshalb ich es gerne empfehle.

Wer dazu Würfel haben mag, kann sich auf die silbernen Dragon’s Hoard Dice stürzen oder das Dragon Themed Polyhedral Würfelset in betracht ziehen. Wer etwas digitales zwecks Dungeonbau sucht, sollte sich den Dungeon & Quest Generator ansehen. Das ganze sieht durchaus nützlich aus.
Daneben bin ich versucht die spanische Übersetzung von Tenra Bansho Zero zu backen. Ich habe bereits die Englische Fassung, mag aber mein Spanisch trainieren und hoffe das die Spanische Fassung auch die „Kriegsregeln“ drin hat. Allerdings ist noch nicht raus wie der Versand ausschauen wird.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #125, including every tabletop rpg project started between 11/24 and 12/15.
After I attended Dragonmeet and been to a work related training, I am back with about 40 projects. Sadly, thanks to the timespan, some projects closed before I could report on them and some are quite close to finishing, thus, let’s get to it.
The Children of Eriu is a new game placed in the setting of Fate of the Norns. It offers a very celtic setting and a very cool fitting tarot deck. Next to a very rich background, stunning illustrations it has an interesting and tested system, which is based on drawing rune stones. The creator Andrew Valkauskas is experienced with delivering projects and I do recommend it highly. If you are looking for a game fitting for the upcoming holidays, that includes the Krampus, take a look at ‚TWAS – The Roleplaying Game Before Christmas. It offers a rules-light system, which you use to play sentinent toys that are out to rescue Santa. The game is done by Jonathan Green and based on the game book by the same name, the idea is neat and the presentation interesting. I do recommend to check it out. If you’ll like something more futuristic, take a look at Retropunk, which is a cyberpunk game that has a system inspired a bit by PbtA and more by Blades in the Dark. I like the idea and am actually quite very tempted. Then there’s Hardboot, a D&D 5E game, where you’ll play videogame characters who gotta fight. The project doesn’t appear convincing to me and I do would advice caution.
There are plently of other project. For example I am considering the Memento Mori / Memento Vivere campaign, which might have a small rules-light system to fit. There are beautiful dice like the Solid Brass Rainbow Serpentine Dice by Polyhydra or those from the LUMO project.
