Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #120 (Zeitraum: 22.09 bis 07.10).

Nach einer kleinen Pause bin ich zurück und es finden sich nicht weniger als 14 englischsprachige Rollenspiele in der Kurzübersicht.
Mit Little Monster Detectives von Nosolorol wird ein Spiel das sich an Kinder richtet aus dem Spanischen übersetzt. Paco Jean hat auf seinem GMS Magazine YouTube Kanal das Spiel vorgestellt und es klingt, wie ich finde, schon recht brilliant. Hätte ich Kinder, würde ich vielleicht zuschlagen – zumal es schon arg cool aussieht. Das vs. KICKSTARTER 2 Projekt bietet gleich drei Micro-RPGs, bei denen man wahlweise Spaß in der Post-Apokalypse haben kann, Hitler erlegen oder mit Mecha kämpfen, was ganz launig aussieht. Das Charm Universal RPG sieht wiederum besser aus, bietet jedoch einen universellen Ansatz, bei dem lediglich der visitenkartengroße Charakterbogen klein ist. Ross Rifles wiederum bietet weniger die farbenpracht von Charm sondern versetzt die Spieler in grimmige Grabenkämpfe mit dem Powered by the Apocalypse System. Wem das zu schwer ist, der kann sich mit dem Drinking Quest: Old Habits Rollenspiel etwas Mut zu trinken.
Womit wir Genre mäßig auch bereits mit einem Bein im Fantasy Genre sind, nehmen wir das andere dabei gibt es einerseits Gods and Masters. In dem Spiel kann man sich mit Savage Worlds Regeln in einen urbanen, guerilla Kampf in einem Fantasy Setting werfen. Was ich persönlich ebenso merkwürdig finde wie elektrisch betriebene Dampftechnologie welche die Nuadan Chronicles in den Fokus nehmen.
Spannend wiederum finde ich Haunted West. Hierbei thematisiert Chris Spivey, den ich bereits dank seines Harlem Unbound Ergänzungsband zu schätzen lernte, den Weird West aus der Sicht von Personengruppen die mitunter im Genre eher zu kurz kommen. Ich bin durchaus versucht. Ein weiteres interessantes Projekt dahingehend ist Agon, bei dem neuen System das von John Harper (Blades in the Dark) unter Evil Hat entwickelt wird, erlebt man heroische Abenteuer in einer mythischen Welt die griechisch inspiriert wirkt.
Unter den Science Fiction Rollenspielen hat wiederum RECLAIMER mein Interesse angeregt. Thematisch zur aktuellen Politik passend, kann man hierbei im Rahmen der stärker werdenden Klima-Krise in die Rolle von Personen schlüpfen welche das Klima retten wollen. Mechanisch nutzt es ein ähnliches System wie Cryptomancer und ich bin durchaus ein wenig versucht. Dark Stars wiederum beschreibt das eigene Genre als Space Punk und bietet ein einfaches W100 System als Grundlage für die eigenen Abenteuer.
Seekers Beyond The Shroud ist ein Einzelspieler-Rollenspiel bei dem man den wortwörtlichen okkulten Untergrund erkundet und sich gegen verschiedene Gefahren beweisen muss. Es sieht sehr stylish aus, es ist genau mein Ding und das Projekt welches mich mit Abstand am meisten versucht. Mehr Urban Fantasy bekommt man unter anderen bei Visigoths vs. Mall Goths. Also Westgoten gegen Kaufhaus-Goths. Ich persönlich habe weder einen Bezug zu Westgoten – die etwas sehr bunt aussehen – noch zur amerikanischen Kaufhaus-Goths. Wem das anders geht, der sollte einen Blick drauf haben. Dann gibt es noch Night Shift. Das Spiel bietet im Grunde klassische Urban Fantasy / Urban Horror Szenarien die man gerne auch selbst gestalten kann, wenn man nicht gleich „quasy Buffy“ oder ähnliches spielt. Wobei es ein OGL basiertes System nutzt welches zum O.G.R.E.S. Haussystem von Elf Lair Games weiter entwickelt wurde. Für Fans von Buffy & Co. ggf. ganz interessant.
Daneben gibt es noch viele coole andere Projekte. Wie die Spielbücher Destiny’s Role 1 oder auch Escape from Darkmoor Keep. Die funkelnden 2020 Glitter Würfel und viele mehr. Mehr findet ihr hier:

Eine kurze Besonderheit, bevor es mit der Liste weiter geht, leider verdichten sich aktuell die Anzeichen dafür, dass Kickstarter zwei Mitarbeiter entließm weil sie einen Betriebsrat gründen wollen (Kickstarter accused of union-busting after firing workers). Allgemein ist Kickstarter gegen Betriebsräte und führt dahingehend die übliche Unternehmenspropaganda auf (Kickstarter To Workers and Project Creators: Drop Dead). Ich persönlich finde es ziemliche daneben, und es hat meinen Enthusiasmus Geld auf der Plattform zu lassen einen Dämpfer verpasst. Neben einen Blick auf mein Konto.
Das ist kein Boykottaufruf, der letztlich schließlich auch die Projektmacher trifft, mehr ein allgemeiner Hinweis.

Über die Aufnahme von Projekten

Es gibt zwei Wege wie Projekte in die Liste kommen.

) Ich versuche aktiv alle neue Projekte zu finden. Unter anderem über meine Crowdfunding Suchliste, aber auch durch die Beobachtung von Gruppen, Communities, Foren, Newsletter und dergleichen mehr.

) Ich bin darauf angewiesen das Ihr, die Leser, mir mitteilt wenn ein neues Projekt startet, das in die Liste passt. Beispielsweise weil ich manchmal Projekte übersehe oder sich Plattformen (Patreon, IndieGoGo, Startnext, …) schlecht durch suchen lassen oder ich sie nicht kenne.

Das Projekt sollte etwas mit Rollenspiel zu tun haben, schon gestartet, noch nicht erwähnt und zur nächsten Veröffentlichung noch am laufen.

Wenn man mich anspricht, nehme ich auch gerne Projekte auf, die normalerweise außenvor bleiben (z.B. Veranstaltungen oder Miniaturen bezogene Projekte).
