I present to you the new Crowdfunding Zine Collection #159, including every tabletop rpg project started between 01/17 and 02/07.

With the ZineQuest event in full swing, there are no fewer tha 233 ttrpg projects. I split them between „normal“ (107) and „zine“ (126) crowdfunding projects. In this collection, you’ll find the ZineQuest ones.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #159 (Zeitraum: 17.01 bis 07.02).

Neben der gewaltigen Welle an 126 Zine-Quest Rollenspielprojekten, gibt es auch noch 105 „normale“ Rollenspiel Crowdfundings, sowie ein paar für welche die Pause zu spät wär.

In dieser Kurzübersicht, findet ihr alle „normalen“ Crowdfunding Projekte. Wobei ich die englischsprachigen nicht weiter vorstellen werde. Unter den Deutschen präsentiert der Uhrwerk Verlag mit Monsterjagd! ein Spiel für den Nachwuchs und die ganze Familie. Fragments – Pulverdampf wiederum ist das erste Projekt von JP stories, und schaut cool aus. Bei Die Schwarze Katze – Fasar – Brüchiger Frieden hätte ich mitgemacht, weil ich Katzen cool finde, aber es ist im Budget nicht drin.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Zine-Kurzübersicht #159 (Zeitraum: 17.01 bis 07.02).

Mit der dritten Zine-Quest gibt es unglaublich viele Magazin Projekte, mit Rollenspiel Thema, die gestartet wurden. Es sind ganze 126 Projekte, davon rund 57 vollständige Spiele. Da es weit jenseits dessen ist, was ich vorstellen kann, mag ich diesmal direkt zur Übersicht übergehen.

Crowdfunding Collection #158

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #158, including every tabletop rpg project started between 01/12 and 01/17.

This Sunday the collection is back to its regular schedule, the number of projects isn’t as big as before, yet there are quite some nice ones among those started. Let’s get to them.

The game Dungeon Bitches pretty much had my attention with its name. As suggested by the title, you’ll be playing female or non-binary characters exploring and existing within a dungeon; in which they might feel more at home than within the outside world. The ruleslight game, that’s based in Powered by the Apocalypse systems, focuses on drama and relationships. The artwork is quite unique, and I’ll be trying to fit a physical edition into my budget. The game End Times has the characters engage in time travel to prevent one apocalypse, likely to be followed by the need to prevent another one and another one. Though it is less the characters in person travel through time (save from normal living) but rather their conciousness. The quite interesting setting can be played and explored by using either a Powered by the Apocalypse rules set or the „ORC 2.0“ system. Thus, enabling different approaches. In Coils of Chaos the apocalypse apparently has already taken place creating rather chaotic fantasy future. Which is fascilitated with the „Crux Engine“, using d4 dice which consequently can be upgraded to bigger dice.
If you are looking for a game more on the storytelling side of RPGs, check out Tapestry. You apparently lay out cards with buzzwords on them out akin to a domino game, and create the story along the impulses given. Which I consider quite fascinating.
This time around, I’ll be highlighting two Patreons as well. Let’s start with Nerdbert. He creates beautiful custom character sheets for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th edition, which I previously featured on my blogs. Considering I featured them, it is suffice to say that I do like and cherish them, and thus back his endeavor. You can get even more character sheets via the patreon of OldMightyFriendlyGamer (OMFG). His V5 sheets are quite stunning, and thus I joined to offer some support of mine as well. Hence my recommendation to check out both patreons.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #158 (Zeitraum: 12.01 bis 17.01).

Diesen Sonntag ist die Übersicht zurück zur gewohnten Zeit, mit einer übersichtlichen Anzahl von Projekten, darunter einige interessante, welche ich hervorheben mag.

Das Spiel Dungeon Bitches hat bereits mit seinem Titel meine Aufmerksamkeit gewonnen. Wie der Titel nahelegt spielt man weibliche oder nicht-binäre Charaktere, welche sich in Dungeons wohler fühlen als in der „gewöhnlichen“ Welt. Das regelleichte Spiel, welches sich bei PbtA anlegt, bietet einen Fokus auf Drama und Beziehungen. Das Artwork sieht interessant aus, und ich bin stark versucht, wenn ich Raum in meinem Budget finde. In End Times wiederum versucht man eben diese zu verhindern, und mittels Zeitreisen Apokalypsen aufzuhalten. Wobei weniger die Personen eine Zeitreise unternehmen, sondern ihr Bewusstsein. Das interessante Setting kann entweder mit Powered by the Apokalypse Regeln bespielt werden, oder mit dem „ORC 2.0“, einem simulationistischeren System. Cool. Coils of Chaos wiederum setzt direkt in einer ziemlich chaotischen Fantasy Zukunft an, und verwendet die „Crux Engine“ als System. Es ist durchaus einen Blick wert.
Tapestry wiederum bewegt sich entlang der Linien eines RPG und eines Erzählspiel. Hierbei legt man mit Karten, die in dem Beispiel ein wenig nach Domino ausschauen, scheinbar Ansätze aus, über welche die Geschichte gemeinsam weiter gesponnen werden kann.
Daneben mag ich zwei Patreons hervorheben. Zunächst hat Nerdbert einen Patreon, über die er eigens angefertigte, meiner Meinung nach wunderschöne, Charakterbögen für Vampire: Die Maskerade in der 5. Edition anbietet. Die Bögen gibt es neben einer englischen Variante, auch auf Deutsch und in anderen Fremdsprachen. Nachdem ich sie bereits einmal vorstellte, unterstütze ich ihn gerne dabei, und empfehle das Projekt herzlichst. Daneben bietet auch OldMightyFriendlyGamer (OMFG) einen Patreon, über den man ihn bei der Erstellung von Charakterbögen finanziell unterstützen kann. Auch er bietet schnieke Bögen für die V5 und hat ebenfalls meine volle Unterstützung.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #157, including every tabletop rpg project started between 11/29 and 01/12.

Happy New Year! Following another long break, I am back with a fresh and illustrated collection.
I still remain at the clinic, yet finally could free some time and had the energy to go back to it. Sadly, a lot of projects have been started and ended between the last and this collection. I mentioned the ended projects I am aware off, at the end of the illustrated „live projects list“.

Considering there are currently 77 projects live, 19 English ttrpgs, I will keep the prologe to a few projects that caught my eye. Which enables me to get the list out today, and not at Sunday when likely a ton of new „make 100“ projects have been started.

I personally backed the The Monsters Are Our Heroes Print Tabletop RPG Zine. It offers a neat little game, in which I can play a Vampire ~ or a different monster ~ at a rather nice backer level and it looks like it is made with enthusiasm. Check it out. Then my eye caught the game Those Who Wander. While I am not such a big fan of „fantasy“ games, the inclusive approach to character creation caught my eye. As did the colorful cover of Space Aces: TNG (The New Guidebook). Which is a neat, little science fiction game. I am as well tempted to back the gamebook Alba – an Open World Adventure Book. It’s presentation is interesting, and the additional material is rad, maybe I’ll back it later on.
Fans of the Powered by the Apocalypse system should check out Babes in the Wood RPG, a game about having halloween themed adventures for kids, and/or ABYSS which rather induldges in supernatural Action-Horror ala Castlevania or Hellsing. Rune and Steel mostly caught my eye, as it kind of looks like the German tabletop rpg juggernaut The Dark Eye, though I haven’t delved deeper.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #157 (Zeitraum: 29.11 bis 12.01).

Frohes neues Jahr! Nach langer Zeit, melde ich mich mit einer frischen und illustrierten Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht zurück. Ich bin zwar weiterhin in einer Klinik, konnte allerdings die Zeit und Energie finden, die Liste zu erstellen. Leider sind durch die lange Pause, einige Projekte in der Zwischenzeit beendet worden. Ihr findet eine Liste dieser Projekte am Ende der illustrierten Projekten.

Mit 77 aktuell laufenden Projekten, davon 19 Rollenspielen, werde ich diesmal, nur eine kurze Vorstellung vornehmen, von Projekten die für mich herausstechen.

Zunächst bietet Obscurati Publishing eine Übersetzung der 2. Edition des RPGs Tiny Dungeon ins Deutsche. Ein cooles Rollenspiel, bei dem ich zugeschlagen hätte, würde ich nicht schon das Original besitzen. Daneben haben Green Gorilla das originär deutschsprachige Rollenspiel Little Wizards finanziert. Ein Fantasy Spiel, dass sich an Kinder richtet, und bei dem ich empfehle einen Blick drauf zu werfen. Die Pandemie macht dem Einzelhandel zu schaffen, inklusive Rollenspielläden, weshalb ich Support Kainskind * Reloaded empfehlen mag, wenn ihr etwas Geld frei habt.

Von den englischsprachigen Projekten habe ich das RPG The Monsters Are Our Heroes Print Tabletop RPG Zine unterstützt. Ich mag es Vampire & Co. zu spielen, und das Magazine ist sehr günstig. Daneben versucht mich noch Those Who Wander, da der erste Blick nahelegt das es sein Fantasy Setting und System inklusiv angeht. Mir gefällt die Farbenprächtigkeit des Space Aces: TNG (The New Guidebook) Rollenspiel, dass sich regelleicht präsentiert. Ich bin bei dem Spielbuch Alba – an Open World Adventure Book durchaus versucht, und habe es für später markiert.
Fans von Powered by the Apocalypse bekommen mit dem Babes in the Wood RPG kindergerechte Abenteuer rund um Halloween geboten, und mit ABYSS übernatürlichen Action-Horror im Urban Fantasy Umfeld. Bei Rune and Steel fiel mir besonders auf, dass es mich optisch an DSA erinnert.

I present to you the new Crowdfunding Collection #156, including every tabletop rpg project started between 11/08 and 11/29.

As a result of my stationary clinic stay, a severe alergic reaction and a bone bruise, the collection covers a timeframe of 4 weeks.

Because of the circumstances, and that the collection covers 100 projects, about 21 english games, I could neither illustrate them nor can I offer an intro as usual. I hope you still find value in this „abridged“ version of the collection.

Es gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #156 (Zeitraum: 08.11 bis 29.11).

Aufgrund meines Klinik-Aufenthalt, einer allergischen Reaktion sowie einer Prellung meines Unterarm respektive Ellebogen, hat sich diese Ausgabe der Kurzübersicht auf einen Zeitraum von 4 Wochen erstreckt.

Ich habe aktuell nicht die Zeit, und mit der Prellung nicht die Fitness, um die 100 Projekte, davon 21 englischsprachige Rollenspiele, zu illustrieren und in gewohnter Form vorzustellen. Weshalb ich hoffe, dass die „blanke“ Kurzübersicht dennoch genügt.
