RSP-BlogsEs gibt eine frische Crowdfunding Kurzübersicht #134 – Teil 2 von 3 – Magazine (Zeitraum: 09.02 bis 19.02).
Nachdem ich eine Operation hatte, ist diese Kurzübersicht etwas später, und weil Zine-Quest ist, hat sie über 150 Projekte, mit etwas über 70 Spielen. Dementsprechend habe ich sie wieder auf drei Teile aufgeteilt:

Die Zine Quest beschert eine sehr beachtliche Menge von frischen Rollenspielen. Dirt RPG bietet ein Fantasy-Setting nach der Post-Apokalypse und ein durchaus interessantes W6 System. Ich finde die Beschreibung interessant und optisch macht es etwas her. Wer es weiterhin post-apokalyptisch mag, aber schon immer mal Geschichten um Schlangenleute weben wollte, der wird bei Snake People bedient. Das narrative Spiel ist für mich trotz schrägen Ansatz interessant. Das Snakeyes Gaming System bietet wiederum weniger Setting, als ein nettes kleines System für die Gestaltung von eigenen Runden. Halt mit den Fokus auf dem 1er-Pasch.
Wer lieber ein Rollenspiel im Stil von Westworld, aber dem Charm des Great Gatsby hat, der sollte ein Blick auf The Gaslight Club haben. Als Fan der Serie, und mit meinen Gefallen am Blades in the Dark System konnte ich nicht widerstehen und empfehle es. Vielleicht mag man aber auch eher das Traumschiff, dann sollte man sich The Love Ballon anschauen. Ein spielleiterloses System um die Wirrungen auf Kreuzfahrtreisen. Nun, oder man mag im Stil der Versteckten Kamera und anderen Prankshows im Rollenspiel Leute reinlegen, dann sollte man sich das Forged in the Dark Spiel Funny Freakout ansehen.
Vielleicht mag man auch eher Fantasy. Dann erlaubt einen i’m sorry did you say street magic sowohl magisch geprägte Städte zu entwerfen, als auch sie zu erkunden. Wobei es spielleiterlos, genre-agnostisch und Vignetten wie Kampagnen geeignet ist. Cool. ALL SKATE FANTASY wiederum bietet normale, heroische Fantasy, und ist spielleiterlos. Das ganze richtet sich an Party People, wobei ich vermute das es ein Bier & Pretzel Spiel ist. Dump Quest wiederum hat einen Spielleiter, man kann es wohl beim spielen zerstören und setzt auf einen interessanten „ad-libbing“-Aspekt. Heißt, der Spielleiter gestaltet das Spiel entlang verschiedener Wörter die von den Spielern eingeworfen werden.
Horror? Ist zumindest das Wort unter dem ich die nächsten drei Spiele zusammenfasste. Grey Seas Are Dreaming Of My Death nutzt die Werke von William Hope Hodgsons als Inspiriation. Heißt, man setzt sich mit übernatürlichen Horror auf hoher See auseinander. Wobei es sich als One-Shot Spiel andient. Bei THEY FEED ON FEAR wiederum spielt man selbst die Monstern. Kreaturen welche sich durch die Angst anderer ernähren. Was so atmosphärisch umgesetzt ist, dass ich zunächst gar keine Assoziationen zu Monsters Inc. hatte. In der Filmreihe für Kinder heißt es wohl eher DON’T LOOK. Womit wir zu einem Horror-Rollenspiel kommen, bei dem die Angst der Charaktere diese am Leben hält. Auch wenn sie sich den Horror – wie der Titel bereits sagt – nicht so direkt anschauen können. Bei allen drei Spielen bin ich durchaus versucht.
Ebenfalls in gewisserweise Horror, aber doch eher Meta, ist Corruption of the Black-Hearted. Ein Spiel bei dem man Personen spielt die sich vielleicht für Helden halten, aber dabei sind zu weit zu gehen. Ein interessantes OSR Spiel mit einen faszinierenden Twist. Noch meta’rer wird es mit Disk Horse#1: Off to the Races. Das Spiel das quasi PbtA verwendet setzt sich im Spiel mit der Fasziniation der Gestaltung von Rollenspielen auseinander. Was mir durchaus ein wenig Kopfzerbrechen bei der Visualisierung bereitet. Nun, und am meta’igsten ist es dann wohl ein Rollenspielzine über das tauschen von „perzine“ Magazinen zu machen – also die Prämisse von In Our Own Wor(l)ds. Womit der größere Rahmen der Zine-Kultur, über Rollenspiele hinaus beleuchtet wird.
For the Honor wiederum ist nicht verwirrend, sondern schaut aus wie She-Ra, hat die Hälfte des Slogan von She-Ra und ist von She-Ra inspiriert. Was das spielleiterlose Spiel auch ganz direkt zu gibt und durch den Style erkennen lässt. Klare Empfehlung. Auch Princess World hat sich eine Portion Inspiration bei She-Ra abgeholt, und bietet ein Spiel rund um rockende Prinzessinnen welches PbtA basiert ist. Auch sehr cool.
Nach soviel Farbe, zurück in die kälte des Weltraums, hin zur Science Fiction. In INVOCCULTAS – Conduits of the Void spielt man Space-Kultisten die es für eine gute Idee halten uralte Götter versuchen zu erwecken. Was als Grundlage für SciFi Horror dient und kartenbasiert umgesetzt wurde. Mir gefällt Stil und Mechanik. YourVerse wiederum erlaubt es eher sich das eigene Science Fiction Universum selbst zu gestalten und bietet hierfür ein allgemeines System. Ein solideres Setting bietet da wiederum das W12 basierte Terranary. Wo man sich mit allzumenschlichen, galaktischen Intrigen befasst. Nu und wenn man ein Spiel für Solo-Erlebnisse oder für mehr Leute haben mag, sollte man einen Blick auf Science Vessel of Dr. Uaerom werfen.
Vielleicht mag man auch eher die Situation von Tieren erkunden. Beispielsweise in dem man in Winter Harvest versucht sich als Tier ein Heim aufzubauen, eine Gemeinschaft zu schaffen und sich ums Futtern zu kümmern. Es könnte natürlich auch sein, dass man trotz letzter Woche noch nicht genug von Tauben hat. Dann sollte man zu Dirty Town greifen. Wo man die Ratten der Lüfte spielt. Ratten fühlen sich da wohl wo Ungeziefer ist, und wer Ungeziefer spielen mag wird mit Hivesworn: Queensfall bedient.
Mitunter mag man aber auch mal ganz normale Urban Fantasy spielen. Hierbei empfehle ich allen voran Draculola! Ein Rollenspiel aus Österreich, welches sich an Kinder – und junggebliebene richtet – bei dem man Vampire und andere „Monstern“ spielt. Allerdings nicht böse welche, sondern solche die versuchen die Welt etwas besser zu machen. Was mich persönlich an Serien wie „Der kleine Vampir“ erinnert oder Rollenspiele wie „Golden Sky Stories“. Das Zine hat mich absolut begeistert, ich bin dabei und mag es absolut empfehlen! Dementgegen bietet Mundane Lost schon gewöhnlichere Urban Fantasy. Soweit man in den 50ern auf gewöhnliche Art und Weise verloren gehen kann. Das PbtA-inspirierte Spiel schaut aus wie Outer Limits und ist durchaus interessant. Bei Heaven Has No Taste; And Other True Statements wiederum spielt man Engel und Dämonen die es auf die Erde verschlagen hat, und die sich dort mitunter verlieben. Quasi der perfekte Plot für eine CW-Serie und recht nett aufgemacht.
Vielleicht sagt ihr euch auch: „Ein Rollenspiel in einem 30 bis 60 Seiten Zine? NUR eins? Wie kann das sein?!“. In dem Fall bietet euch StoryHunter Alphas gleich 4 Rollenspiele. Wobei man ja auch nicht immer andere Spieler hat, in dem Fall kann man drei verschiedene Solo-Spiele mit Alone On A Journey unterstützen. Das, oder man gönnt sich mit Sedentary Dances gleich 7 kurze, Gedicht-basierte Spiele. Eventuell reichen auch nur zwei mit This Thing We Started/The Brokenhearted? Wer weiß.
Es gibt danach auch noch super viele andere Projekte. Wie das Light of the Setting Sun Western Setting, Artifices, Deceptions & Dilemmas zum einbauen in eigene Abenteuer oder System Ergänzungszines wie The Era Zone 2020.

Über die Aufnahme von Projekten
Es gibt zwei Wege wie Projekte in die Liste kommen.
) Ich versuche aktiv alle neue Projekte zu finden. Unter anderem über meine Crowdfunding Suchliste, aber auch durch die Beobachtung von Gruppen, Communities, Foren, Newsletter und dergleichen mehr.
) Ich bin darauf angewiesen das Ihr, die Leser, mir mitteilt wenn ein neues Projekt startet, das in die Liste passt. Beispielsweise weil ich manchmal Projekte übersehe oder sich Plattformen (Patreon, IndieGoGo, Startnext, …) schlecht durch suchen lassen oder ich sie nicht kenne.
Das Projekt sollte etwas mit Rollenspiel zu tun haben, schon gestartet, noch nicht erwähnt und zur nächsten Veröffentlichung noch am laufen.
Wenn man mich anspricht, nehme ich auch gerne Projekte auf, die normalerweise außenvor bleiben (z.B. Veranstaltungen oder Miniaturen bezogene Projekte).
